Welcome to Tetsugyuji International Zen Center. As a pure "shugyo dojo" (training center) our goal is to provide the international community with a remote location in Japan's Oita Prefecture where they can experience authentic Zen training. Unlike many other Buddhist temples, Tetsugyuji does not have "haka" (a cemetery), "danka" (formal members) or perform "o-shoshiki" (funerals). Our support and focus comes from being of service to the community at large. We hope you will join us for one of our events and that we can help foster a more peaceful, enlightened world in the process. Gasho.

鉄牛寺の国際禅センターに良くいらしゃいました。純粋な“修行道場”として、我々のゴールは、日本の大分県の離れた場所で本物の禅の修行を経験できる国際的な社会を提供することにあります。多くの他の仏教寺院と違って、鉄牛寺は“墓”（墓地）、“壇家”（限定されたメンバー）また“お葬式”（葬儀）を行いません。我々が支持し中心に置いている事は、大きく社会貢献すべきであることからきています。我々のイベントに参加し、より平和な明るい世界を作っていけるように我々は希望し助力を惜しみません。合掌
